Brentford Women host Ashmount Leigh in the London South East Regional Women’s Football League Division One North on Sunday at Bedfont Sports Club (3pm kick-off BST).

A 10-1 win at Hackney Women last weekend saw the Bees make it 16 wins from 16 league outings this term.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s match, head coach Karleigh Osborne said: “I have been very pleased with a lot of areas of this season and the team have done well to put themselves in the position they are in right now.

“I would like us to remain focused, we respect all our opponents and we cannot take any game lightly. We also have a cup final at the end of the month.

“Even though we are in a strong position, I have to emphasise that there are still a few games to go and until we are handed a trophy for our efforts, the job is not finished.

"I trust the team will continue to do what they have been doing all season and that is playing at an incredibly high level and showing maturity in all fixtures.”

Ashmount Leigh sit one position above the relegation zone in the league table ahead of Sunday's game.

Meanwhile, Brentford Women B travel to face South London at Griffin Sports Ground on the same afternoon (2pm kick-off BST).

The game pits the sides sitting sixth and ninth in the league against each other.
