Osmar Stabile, the Corinthians president, used about R$ 19,000 from the club’s purchasing card in 2025 to buy two phones as gifts for players.
Salazar TV reported the transactions. Ge.globo identified the academy recipient as Gui Amorim and said the second handset was a goodwill gesture to aid his renewal, days after Bahia triggered Kauê Furquim’s R$ 14 million clause. It added both cases were treated as urgent.
Two days after defender Cacá was robbed, Stabile requested an iPhone 16 Pro Max 512 GB and a charger, bought on 6 June for R$ 12,668. A later system note cited urgency and direct delivery to the training ground. Cacá now plays for Vitória.
The workflow logged pre-approval by Airton Luiz da Silva, sign-off from football executive Fabio de Jesus, release by consultant Roberto Gavioli, and processing by Camila Gonçalves de Oliveira.
On 19 August, an iPhone 16 256 GB was bought for R$ 6,333 and collected from Magazine Luiza due to urgency. The club formalised Amorim’s addendum that day, with the request at 16:26 and purchase at 17:49.
That order showed pre-approval by Rafael Josimo da Silva Salomão, sign-off from Fábio Soares, release by Gavioli, and processing by Regina Ruas da Rocha Silva.
The club said the purchases followed internal procedures with requests, invoices and approvals, and used the purchasing department card, not the corporate card currently under investigation.
