Our women to visit season's sensation so far

Visiting the Blue and Yellows in the capital

The fifth match day of the ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga takes us to the legendary Hohe Warte on Saturday. From 14:00 CEST we will face off against First Vienna FC.

When the women from the capital get going, they certainly are impressive. They boast 25 goals after just four matches, with their 8-3 goal fest at Südburgenland just under three weeks ago standing out in particular. This resounding success was the only win so far for First Vienna, who still have high expectations despite a shake-up in the summer (eleven departures). After all, the capital city team finished as high as third place in the regular season last season, suffering their only defeats at home against the top two teams from St. Pölten and Austria Vienna throughout the entire 2024/25 campaign.

Our team, of course, wants to build on its successful start to the season with seven points already and make up for the late defeat against St. Pölten. The match will be broadcast as usual on ÖFB TV.

We know that Vienna are one of the strongest teams in the league and has been among the top four in Austria for years. They are a very good team in terms of their playing style. Matches like this are a real test for us, and we want to play boldly. The key is that we play together – as a unit.
