Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Ousmane Dembélé and Fabián Ruiz will take no part in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League second leg against AS Monaco. The club said in a statement that both players are unavailable.

PSG hold a one-goal lead after a 3-2 win at Stade Louis II last Tuesday.

That victory came at a cost, as Dembélé was withdrawn inside 30 minutes with injury. He was replaced by Désiré Doué, who ultimately proved the difference.

Dembélé did not train on Monday and is not in the matchday squad, although he has begun individual work. Ruiz remains sidelined by a knee injury sustained in late January.

Senny Mayulu and Quentin Ndjantou are also unavailable for the reigning European champions.
