To those who are still wondering, rest assured: Ousmane Dembélé (29) will certainly be available for the Champions League final against Arsenal on 30th May.

Having been substituted due to injury after 30 minutes of play in the final Ligue 1 match against Paris FC (2-1) last Sunday, the reigning Ballon d’Or winner was clearly only forced to come off as a precautionary measure.

A ‘minor warning’ that leaves him in ‘no doubt’ that he is ‘100 per cent’ ready to face the Gunners, as he himself stated in an interview with RMC Sport. “I’ve had so many niggles or major injuries in my career, whether here at PSG or even before, especially with big games coming up, particularly this final, I preferred to stop and, above all, not take any risks,” explained Dembélé.

Having started 24 of the 39 matches he has featured in since the start of the season, the 29-year-old boasts impressive statistics, with 19 goals and 11 assists to his name. Recently named Ligue 1 Player of the Season, the Frenchman, who will be competing in the World Cup this summer, now hopes to add a second Champions League title to his trophy cabinet.
