Ousmane Dembélé started for PSG at Monaco but was forced off injured in the first half of the Champions League play-off first leg.

According to L'Équipe, he had been managing a leg problem before kick-off. The Ballon d'Or winner was seen limping as he made his way off.

PSG endured a nightmare opening, falling 2-0 behind inside 25 minutes after Vitinha missed a penalty.

Luis Enrique still named Dembélé in his XI, preferring Kvitcha Kvaratskhelia and Bradley Barcola up front alongside him, with Désiré Doué among the substitutes.

Dembélé departed on 26 minutes, replaced by Doué, who reduced the deficit with his first touch on 29 minutes.
