Out of contract, wingers bid farewell to Corinthians Futsal

In the past few hours, wing players Luisinho and Igor Carioca have bid farewell to Corinthians Futsal on their social media. Both have contracts until the end of this year and will not be renewed. According to Meu Timão, the first is expected to transfer to Joinville. Ivan Monteros, Andrey, and Yann, who were part of the Under-20 team and had been integrated into the main team, also left Parque São Jorge.

Luisinho (22 years old) was developed in the Corinthians futsal youth academy, making his debut for the main team in mid-2021. In total, he scored 33 goals and provided assists in 126 matches wearing the Corinthians jersey, achieving 67 wins, 23 draws, and 36 losses – a 59.2% success rate. Additionally, he won the São Paulo Cup and the Mucho Más International Tournament in Spain.

Igor Carioca, on the other hand, was signed by Corinthians in January 2024 and defended the Corinthians jersey 87 times, with 47 wins, 15 draws, and 25 losses – a 57.7% success rate. In total, he scored 22 goals and provided 23 assists. In 2025, he scored 10 goals in 50 games. Like Luisinho, he won the São Paulo Cup and the Mucho Más International Tournament for the Alvinegro.

In addition to the mentioned departures, Marlon, a defender with a Brazilian National Team background, signed in September 2024 and was crucial for Corinthians in the runner-up finishes of the Paulistão and the National League of the sport, is expected to leave Parque São Jorge and transfer to a team in Malaysia, as initially reported by Meu Timão in recent days.

In 2025, Corinthians Futsal reached five finals in the five tournaments they participated in, securing two titles (São Paulo Cup and Mucho Más International Tournament) and three runner-up finishes (Supercopa Gramado, Paulista Championship, and National Futsal League).
