Michael Olise is increasingly becoming one of the most sought-after attacking players in Europe. Now, Real Madrid is reportedly even prepared to significantly raise the transfer fees previously discussed.

Speculation surrounding Michael Olise and Real Madrid continues to gain momentum. After recent reports suggested that the Royals might be preparing an offer of around 150 million euros for the Bayern star, even larger figures are now being discussed.

According to reports from Spain, Real Madrid internally expects that a transfer of the French international will likely be significantly more expensive than originally anticipated. According to Marca, the offer could rise to more than 200 million euros. A sum of up to 220 million euros is reportedly even being discussed.

This would put Real Madrid in a league of its own, potentially changing the transfer market forever. By way of comparison: The most expensive transfer in soccer history to date remains Neymar’s move from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 for 222 million euros.

Following his outstanding season with FC Bayern, Olise is now one of the most sought-after players in Europe. The 24-year-old not only impressed in Munich but is also currently making headlines at the World Cup.

Real Dreams of Galáctico Olise

In France’s 3-1 opening victory over Senegal, Olise shone with two assists and was subsequently named Man of the Match. His performances have apparently further strengthened the conviction of those in charge in Madrid.

Real President Florentino Pérez is said to view the attacking player as a potential new Galáctico. According to reports, coach José Mourinho is also a strong advocate for a transfer.

Despite the spectacular sums involved, however, FC Bayern’s stance remains unchanged. The Munich club considers Olise unsellable and wants to make the Frenchman the face of the team for the long term.

Most recently, President Herbert Hainer made it clear that the record champions have no interest whatsoever in a sale. Instead, internal plans are underway for an early contract extension.

According to recent reports, Bayern intends to begin talks about a new contract immediately after the World Cup. Although Olise is under contract until 2029, the club plans to extend his deal early.

In the process, the Frenchman could even rise to become one of the club’s top earners. Club officials want to send a clear signal that Olise will play a central role in their long-term plans.

Real Madrid may be dreaming of a spectacular transfer. At the moment, however, there is little to suggest that Bayern would even be open to talks. Even with offers exceeding the 200-million-euro mark, the message from Munich remains clear: Olise is set to shape the future of FC Bayern.
