Tomorrow evening, Inter play their second match of the season in the Champions League.

The Nerazzurri are facing Serbian league leaders Red Star Belgrade.

In Inter’s first match of the season in European competition, they secured a draw away to Manchester City.

That was a precious point coming at the home of the Premier League juggernauts.

However, Inter will not be taking anything for granted in their second match of the season in the Champions League.

Red Star are currently the dominant force in the Serbian SuperLiga. They sit top of the table having won eight matches, drawn one, and lost none.

Moreover, Red Star put in an impressive performance against Benfica in their own opener. They may have lost, but they had chances to get a result against the Portuguese giants.

Unlike in their opener against City, Inter will be able to count on their home support behind them tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri are playing their first home match of the season in Europe.

Inter have faced the likes of Lecce and Atalanta at the San Siro so far this season. They also nominally “hosted” the derby against their city rivals AC Milan.

But now, it will be the return of a European night at the iconic stadium for Inter’s supporters.

In the opening round of fixtures, Milan hosted English giants Liverpool. But now, it will be Inter’s turn.

Tuttosport report that the San Siro has not sold out its capacity well in excess of 70,000 spectators.

However, there should still be over 60,000 spectators in attendance for tomorrow’s match.
