England’s Soccer Aid 2026 line-up has been unveiled, featuring Owen Cooper, GK Barry, Joe Marler, DJ Jordan North and Gladiator Nitro. England face a World XI at the London Stadium on 31 May.
According to Sunderland Echo, 16-year-old Adolescence actor Cooper will become the event’s youngest player, with F1 star Damson Idris and influencer GK Barry among the debutants.
Cooper said he is proud to be involved and excited to play in London, noting the event’s 20th year and its fundraising for Unicef.
Returning for England are Jill Scott, Paddy McGuinness, Olly Murs and Tom Hiddleston. They are joined by Tom Grennan and reality TV star Sam Thompson.
The Soccer Aid World XI FC includes Usain Bolt, comedian Maisie Adam, rapper Big Zuu, Scottish actor Richard Gadd and The Last Leg’s Alex Brooker.
Co-founder Robbie Williams will return to the pitch and join the England management team. Since 2006, England have won six times, with the World XI triumphing on eight occasions.
Dermot O’Leary will host alongside Alex Scott, with Sam Matterface on commentary.
To mark 60 years since England’s World Cup win, England will wear a replica 1966 white home kit, while the World XI will wear a bespoke Adidas design. The match will use the same footballs as this summer’s World Cup.
Further participants will be confirmed in the coming weeks, along with a 20th anniversary half-time show. Broadcast coverage will be on ITV1, STV and ITVX.
