Pablo Neri signs three-year Palmeiras deal after Cruzeiro agreement | OneFootball

Palmeiras have signed 19-year-old forward Pablo Neri on a three-year contract after agreeing terms with Cruzeiro. The deal was completed on Friday and he has already started work in São Paulo.

According to Globo.com, Cruzeiro will receive no fee, retaining 30% of his economic rights, with Palmeiras holding 70%.

Neri was eligible to sign a pre-contract elsewhere and chose not to renew with Cruzeiro. His official unveiling is expected next week.

His release clause for international transfers is 100 million euros. This season he has played 40 games, scoring seven and assisting six.

A 2026 Copinha winner with Cruzeiro, he made 94 appearances for the club, registering 12 goals and six assists.

The former Santo André prospect rose through Cruzeiro’s academy to the first team. He drew interest from Benfica Under-23 and Santa Clara, and Brazilian sides also asked about him.

Earlier this year he was on Benfica’s radar, but no official bid arrived.
