Pablo Pagis ‘could leave’ Lorient this summer after 10-goal season

Pablo Pagis could leave Lorient this summer after a 10-goal campaign, the best of his young career, despite being under contract until 2027. The 23-year-old forward has acknowledged growing interest in him.

"I think it is the right time," he told Ouest-France on Friday.

"There are ambitious clubs out there, projects that could interest me. It is flattering. It is the reward for my work."

"I have a preference for Ligue 1 for my next move. If foreign clubs really at the top end show interest in me, why not? But Ligue 1, I know the league."

Éli Junior Kroupi was sold for around €13 million to Bournemouth last season. Lorient’s demands for Pagis remain to be seen.
