Vasco da Gama are moving through a decisive planning phase and Pablo Vegetti’s future is central to it. According to PaponaColina, after enquiries from Coritiba and others, the striker has set his preference for 2026.
He ended the season on the bench in the run-in, yet his stock remains high after finishing as Brazilian football’s top scorer this year with 27 goals.
The update for supporters is that he has no intention of leaving Vasco. The Argentine wants to see out his contract and remain at São Januário.
There is one caveat. He would depart only if the club decide to negotiate his exit, placing the decision with Pedrinho’s board.
If it is left to the player, the Pirata will keep wearing the Cruz de Malta and ignore interest that has not turned into formal bids.
