Paco Alcácer back home, from Dubai to Mestalla | OneFootball

Paco Alcácer was in the stands at Mestalla as Valencia faced Alavés, the former striker returning to his old ground.

According to Superdeporte, Alcácer and his family, who are based in Dubai, brought forward their customary Fallas visit because of the danger from bombings in the war between Iran and US-Israel.

He landed on Saturday, and one of his first stops in the city was Mestalla, where he took in the match.

The Gulf metropolis has been on alert since the conflict began, with airports running limited operations and air defences active. Authorities have urged residents to follow only official information amid rising rumours on social media.

Alcácer retired almost a year ago but remains deeply attached to Valencia. Despite criticism over his controversial switch to Barcelona, he has often said his heart has belonged to the club since childhood and that will not change.
