SC Paderborn have signed Deniz Zeitler on loan from TSG Hoffenheim. The Germany youth international is 19.

Kicker reports that the newly promoted side are now pursuing a loan for Bayer Leverkusen’s 20-year-old forward Farid Alfa-Ruprecht, a Germany U20 international.

Zeitler scored 15 goals for Hoffenheim II in the third tier last season.

He joined Hoffenheim last summer after a 2024/25 breakthrough with Ingolstadt. He could face his parent club on matchday four when Paderborn host Hoffenheim on 20 September.

Alfa-Ruprecht will have a better chance of playing time at Paderborn. The Hamburg native spent last season on loan at second-tier club VfL Bochum.
