Palace content this evening's final on the back of their FA Cup success last season, before going on to secure a Community Shield triumph over Liverpool to kickstart the 2025/26 Premier League season.

As for Rayo, Los Franjirrojos, their only hope to secure European football next season comes by way of a win this evening, with the underdog outfit hoping to make good on what has been a fairytale journey across the continent.
