Crystal Palace may have to work hard to convince Oliver Glasner to stay at the club with the manager in the final year of his contract.
Glasner led his side to FA Cup glory last season when Eberechi Eze scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Manchester City at Wembley.
That was followed up by Palace lifting the Community Shield last month, when they drew 2-2 with Liverpool before winning the penalty shoot-out.
However, Glasner's future is unclear with the Austrian's contract expiring at the end of the season.
A difficult transfer window hasn't helped with Eze leaving the club to join Arsenal while captain Marc Guéhi's move to Liverpool was stopped at the death with rumours suggesting that Glasner would leave the club should the deal have been completed.
Indeed, Glasner may need convincing to extend his stay at Selhurst Park and will want reassurances that he will be supported financially if he is to stay on at the club.
Glasner's Palace will return to action on Saturday with the visit of Sunderland.
