Palmeiras complete double session and prepare for second training match against Primavera | OneFootball

Palmeiras completed a double training session on Friday at the Academia de Futebol, maintaining momentum during their 2026 mid-season programme as Campeonato Brasileiro leaders.

According to Nosso Palestra, the morning brought strength, traction and power work with sleds, followed by intense seven-a-side games on a reduced pitch.

In the afternoon, Abel Ferreira and his staff focused on set pieces, drilling attacking and defensive situations while continuing tactical adjustments.

The second training match is scheduled for Saturday 4 July, with Primavera visiting at 10:00 at the Academia de Futebol, and TV Palmeiras Sportingbet broadcasting live from 9:00.

The first workout game came on Wednesday 1 July, when Palmeiras beat Mauaense 6-0 at the club’s training centre.

Competitive action resumes on 22 July at 19:30 away to Coritiba at Estádio Couto Pereira in Curitiba, the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
