Palmeiras have appointed AVA as their official sports technology partner on an 18-month agreement focused on athlete performance and recovery.

According to Nosso Palestra, the partnership covers equipment supply and close collaboration between technical teams, with AVA providing clinical and sports engineering expertise while the club contributes specialist support, particularly in neurology and performance.

Daniel Gonçalves, coordinator of the Núcleo de Saúde e Performance (NSP), said the move strengthens the club’s internal work, calling it a significant step given AVA’s know-how and the quality of its equipment.

During the contract period, AVA’s branding will appear on NSP staff shirts. The company will also deliver technology for the men’s first team, the academy and the women’s side.

Founded in 2004, AVA develops technologies aimed at physical recovery and optimising high-performance athletes. Chief executive Rodrigo Santana welcomed a two-way collaboration with one of Brazil’s biggest clubs, stressing that shared experience, rather than just product delivery, could drive further innovation given the demands of competing on multiple fronts.
