Palmeiras host Capivariano at Arena Barueri on Saturday 21 in their first knockout tie of the 2026 Campeonato Paulista, with Allianz Parque still under renovation. The club aims to improve attendances at the venue, which is run by a company owned by president Leila Pereira.
According to Nosso Palestra, all five of Palmeiras’ home matches this year have been staged in Barueri, drawing a combined 77,810, an average of 15,562, with the peak of 23,842 in the clássico against São Paulo. Four were in the state championship and one in the Brasileirão against Vitória.
Individual attendances were Santos 21,342, Mirassol 12,654, São Paulo 23,842, Vitória 8,953 and Guarani 11,019. Net revenue was negative against Mirassol, R$ -9.073,77, and Vitória, R$ -110.710,74.
A return to Allianz Parque is forecast for March. The first fixture pencilled in at the stadium is Mirassol on 15 March in the Campeonato Brasileiro, though progress in the state competition could bring that date forward.
A semi-final berth on the weekend of 28 February and one March is unlikely, but in the event of a final on four or eight March the pitch could be ready for Abel Ferreira’s side.
