According to Globo.com, a CIES Football Observatory study published on Wednesday names Palmeiras as having the most valuable squad outside Europe, estimated at €322 million, R$ 1.9 billion.
Flamengo place second on €190 million, R$ 1.1 billion. Botafogo are seventh and Fluminense ninth, both inside the top 10.

The report lists Vitor Roque as Palmeiras’ most valuable player at €79.9 million, R$ 477 million.
Globally, Chelsea lead with a squad valuation of €1.7 billion, R$ 10 billion.
Manchester City and Real Madrid complete the top three on R$ 9.6 billion and R$ 9.2 billion respectively.
