Palmeiras register Arias in CBF BID, debut could come next week

Palmeiras have registered Arias in the CBF's Boletim Informativo Diário, the BID, completing the formalities for his move.

Globo.com reports that the attacking midfielder remains in England finalising the last details and is expected to travel to Brazil at the end of the week.

That timeline means he may make his Palmeiras debut next week. He is expected to be added to the Campeonato Paulista list A shortly, while his BID entry already makes him eligible for the Brasileirão.

He has signed a deal running until December 2029.

The transfer is worth 25 million euros, R$ 154 million, to be paid over four years.
