According to Nosso Palestra, the club confirmed the deal on Monday, 5 January, with Basílio becoming the Palestrinas’ fourth signing for the 2026 campaign.
She was a key figure in Botafogo’s 2025 Brasileiro Feminino A2 runners-up finish, which secured promotion to the Brasileiro Feminino A1. Her game has been defined by intensity, persistence and authority in central areas.
In her first message as a Palmeiras player, she said she was delighted and honoured to wear the shirt in 2026. She expects the best from this new chapter and vowed effort, dedication and desire in every match.
Basílio began playing as a child, encouraged by her grandfather, moved through futsal schools, and started in 2018 at Botafogo. She spent time in the youth ranks at Flamengo and Vasco before returning to Botafogo in 2023, where she took on a leading role.
With Botafogo she won the 2024 Copa Rio Feminina and rose to national prominence the following season, drawing Palmeiras’ attention. She now joins the Verdão squad aiming to strengthen the group and contribute to a pursuit of trophies in 2026.
