Palmeiras will on Monday announce a partnership with electric vehicle company Leapmotor, with a presentation at Allianz Parque. The parties have signed a two-year agreement.

According to Globo.com, the contract pays R$ 20 million fixed per season, plus up to R$ 10 million in incentives via the Federal Incentive Law, taking the total value to as much as R$ 50 million. The brand could feature on the kit as early as Wednesday's Copa Libertadores opener against Junior Barranquilla in Cartagena, or at the latest in Sunday's derby against Corinthians in Itaquera.

Leapmotor will take the back-of-shirt slot vacated after Fictor's departure. Palmeiras ended the investment firm's deal after it entered judicial recovery following involvement in the Banco Master case.

The club still has money outstanding from Fictor and has registered as a creditor in the recovery process.

The Leapmotor deal is the club's second most lucrative, behind only master sponsor Sportingbet. With the new agreement, the Palmeiras shirt will generate more than R$ 300 million per year.

Other sponsors on the kit are Sil, Uniasselvi, Cimed, D'Italia Panelas and Puma.
