Palmeiras train as Allan targets progress this season: ‘Raise the bar’

Palmeiras trained on the morning of this Tuesday (13th), at the Football Academy, and continued their preparations for the match against Santos, this Wednesday (14th), at 7:30 PM, at Arena Crefisa Barueri, for the Campeonato Paulista.

Coach Abel Ferreira led tactical activities ahead of the first derby of the 2026 season – just like on Monday (12th), forward Vitor Roque participated fully integrated with the squad.

One of Palmeiras’ standouts in 2025, midfielder Allan finished his first year as a professional already ranking in the Top 10 of the “Crias da Academia” (Academy Graduates) who have played the most matches since 2020: 10th place with 54 games, alongside Renan, who played between 2020 and 2022. In debut seasons, he achieved the second-best mark, behind only Gabriel Menino’s 61 games in 2020.

“I was very happy for the opportunity I had. Individually, it was a very good year, even though we didn’t achieve our collective goals. I’m very happy with the season I had and now, for 2026, it’s about raising the level and staying focused to give my best here at Palmeiras,” he said. “We’ve arrived well, confident to give our best for Palmeiras. We know what we’re capable of, we’re working day by day to reach the finals, to compete for titles. We know what we can do and we’ll give our all to always be fighting for and winning titles,” he added.

Allan also commented on his expectations for playing in another derby.

“We treat derbies differently, with that extra 10%. It’s an important match, they’re special games. We’ve been working all week, and I believe we’ll play a good game and, God willing, come out victorious,” Allan concluded.
