The 2026 World Cup Panini album, for a tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico from 11 June, has triggered a frenzy in France. According to L'Équipe, albums and sticker packs have been near impossible to find.
Panini France’s Isabelle Fillon said production started late because qualifiers were only settled on 31 March, and a 5 May launch created a bottleneck. She added the Qatar edition was less followed than 2018, and output has been ramped up so stock should stabilise soon.
After five failed stops, we finally found an album.
The album costs €3.50, and filling 980 slots is pricey. At €1.50 for a seven-sticker pack the ideal spend is €210, but duplicates bite, and one box held only seven sachets with 27 of 49 repeated. Specialist Christophe Pinon reckons collectors need roughly triple, about €630.
A €215 Collector’s Box offers 1,014 stickers and has left friends short by about 10, though it is out of stock with more due. Swaps on sites such as laststicker.com help. Singles are available via Pinon’s eBay shop or from Panini, though the latter’s date and price remain unconfirmed, previously €0.40, and Pinon urges patience.
Despite the rush, the album contains oddities. Kingsley Coman features for France even though he has not been called up since October 2025, while Rayan Cherki is omitted despite recent selections. Rookie cards are most coveted, Germany’s pages include five not selected, and Spain and Brazil have four each. Collectors are advised not to stick them to preserve value.
