Panini’s 2026 World Cup sticker album goes on sale on Wednesday. The 15th FIFA edition is its biggest yet, comprising 980 stickers and two pages for each of the 48 qualified teams, ahead of the tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada from 11 June to 19 July.
According to L'Équipe, four album formats are available, including a classic priced at €3.50, a hardback and two premium gold or silver variants. Packets of seven, occasionally eight, stickers cost €1.50.
There are international, US and Swiss editions, with Switzerland traditionally having its own specific album. This year the collection will reach 150 countries for the first time.
South America, plus Switzerland and Belgium, are among the most dynamic markets, with Brazil the top seller in 2022, notably relative to population.
To meet demand, the group’s plants in Italy, Argentina and Brazil are running around the clock for the launch, each producing 11 million packets per day.
A digital companion, the FIFA Panini Digital Album, lets collectors redeem images via promotional codes found at random in packets. As of Tuesday, more than 6 million users worldwide were swapping virtual stickers on the app. Panini has also been selling 630 Adrenalyn collection cards for the 2026 World Cup since February.
