PAOK approach Marseille for Samuel Gigot

According to a report by Sacha Tavolieri, PAOK have approached Olympique de Marseille for Samuel Gigot (30). The former Spartak Moscow centre-back has been placed on the transfer list by Marseille with the club making it clear that there is no place in the squad for last season’s acting captain.

PAOK have reportedly initiated discussions and are attempting to gauge the terms and conditions of a deal before proceeding with their attempts to sign the Frenchman. However, they are far from the only club interested in securing the defender’s signature.
