Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes is increasingly closer to leaving the Italian capital.

The Argentine midfielder is the main target of Boca Juniors, the club where he grew up and ready to bring him back home.

Paredes spoke to Radio La Rad about a possible farewell to the Giallorossi.

“I haven’t spoken to Roma yet. It’s been a long season, I want to rest a bit with family and friends. I’ll take these next 20 days and then I’ll make a decision.”

“I’m always close to Boca,” he added in a conversation with tn.com. “The will is there, but it doesn’t depend on just one situation. We’ll see if it’s the right time.”
