Paredes to reconsider future plans as Ranieri wants to renew his contract

Leandro Paredes has become increasingly crucial to Roma’s line-up since the arrival of Claudio Ranieri.

The Argentine midfielder had been mostly limited to the bench with Ivan Juric in charge, but once Ranieri’s appointment became official, Paredes was quickly reinserted into the team’s starting formation.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the midfielder is now likely going to reconsider his own future plans.

Initially, the idea was for Paredes to conclude his contract with Roma before returning to Boca Juniors in the summer.

However, with Ranieri pushing to renew the player’s contract, Paredes could reconsider and decide to stay in the Italian capital.

The newspaper claims that everything appears to be possible at the moment.
