127 people were arrested across the Paris metropolitan area after PSG reached the Champions League final, the French interior minister said in an interview on CNews/Europe 1.
Clashes and disorder broke out overnight after PSG eliminated Bayern Munich, with the match finishing 1-1 following the 5-4 first leg.
Of the 127 arrests, 107 were in Paris. Several people were injured, including one in a serious condition caused by an artillery mortar.
The minister strongly condemned the unrest.
The final is on 30 May in Budapest, where Luis Enrique’s PSG will face Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, who knocked out Atlético Madrid on Tuesday.
