Paris FC 0-5 Lens player ratings: Wesley Saïd and Florian Thauvin star | OneFootball

Wesley Saïd and Florian Thauvin inspired Lens to a 5-0 victory at Paris FC, sending them back to the Ligue 1 summit on Saturday, matchday 22.

Saïd struck the post on 13, Thauvin then had a finish ruled out for Saïd’s offside on 15, before Saïd swept in the opener on 24. He doubled it on 38 from Saud Abdulhamid’s cross. L'Équipe notes Saïd was rated eight and Thauvin seven.

Abdulhamid forced Otavio into conceding a penalty on 57, which Thauvin converted on 58. Allan Saint-Maximin came on for Saïd on 69 and later supplied Fofana for goals on 90 and 90+4.

At the back, 19-year-old Nidal Celik impressed on his first start at right centre-back amid injuries to Antonio, Baidoo and Gradit, winning six of seven duels. Abdulhamid was influential down the right and recovered 10 balls.

Paris FC laboured. Luca Koleosho made little impact on his first start and was replaced by Moses Simon.

Marshall Munetsi won only one of six duels in midfield before Vincent Marchetti came on. Rudy Matondo, 17, struggled at wing-back, and Ilan Kebbal’s influence dipped.
