Paris FC are considering a shock swoop for free agent Liam Rosenior should they were to part ways with Antoine Kombouaré, according to Foot Mercato. Kombouaré oversaw a remarkable spell as head coach in the French capital, steering the promoted Ligue 1 side way above the relegation zone after he replaced Stéphane Gili in the dugout. Kombouaré is officially tied with PFC over a contract set to expire in 2027.

However, Kombouaré would be keen to extend his Paris FC contract until 2028, which is reportedly a stumbling block for the Parisians. This scenario prompted Paris FC to explore alternative options, and one of them leads to Liam Rosenior. Could the former RC Strasbourg head coach make an unexpected return in Ligue 1? L’Equipe reported recently that Rosenior wanted to take a break from management after his ill-fated stint at Chelsea.

The report also mentions that Paris FC entertain the possibility of appointing coach Bruno Genesio. But the latter is expected to replace Habib Beye at Marseille.
