Paris FC near deal to sign Brest’s Pierre Lees-Melou | OneFootball

Pierre Lees-Melou (32) is nearing a move to Paris FC, according to a report from Ouest-France. The Stade Brestois midfielder has been the subject of interest from numerous French clubs in recent months, however, he is now nearing an exit.

Lees-Melou was the subject of interest from Stade Rennais in January, however, they couldn’t meet Brest’s demands at the time. Olympique Lyonnais, who have lost Jordan Veretout and Nemanja Matic over the summer, also turned to Lees-Melou in an attempt to bring in some experience in this position.

However, once again, a deal could not be struck. Paris FC are, however, set to meet Brest’s €7m valuation, according to Ouest-France. The publication understands that a deal could quickly be concluded and that Lees-Melou could soon be a Paris FC player. A move for the Brest midfielder was considered earlier in the window, before Les Parisiens attempted to instead turn their focus towards signing Benjamin André from Lille OSC. However, with attempts to sign the LOSC captain unsuccessful, they turned their focus back to the Brest midfielder.
