Arnaud Kalimuendo could be on the move in January, with Paris FC said to be considering a swoop for the Nottingham Forest forward after limited game time.
L’Equipe reports that the French club have placed him on a shortlist for attacking reinforcements, alongside Bayer Leverkusen’s Martin Terrier and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Elye Wahi, with a loan preferred but a permanent deal not ruled out.
Kalimuendo joined Forest from Rennes for an initial £26 million in August on a five-year contract running to 2030.
He has made 12 appearances but is yet to start a Premier League match. In the Europa League, Sean Dyche has started him in the last two games, and he scored against Utrecht last week to make it two in two.
Roma were linked in October and Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart have recently been reported to be in the mix. Interest from a French club had long been rumoured, with Paris FC said to be the most likely candidates.
Forest are without injured strikers Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi, yet Kalimuendo remains behind fellow summer arrival Igor Jesus for a starting spot. January is likely to be relatively quiet for the Reds, though some ins and outs are expected as Dyche tweaks his squad after his October appointment.
