Paris FC host Strasbourg in Ligue 1 at Stade Jean Bouin on Saturday, 19 September 2026, with fifth playing sixth and early European places in play.
Paris FC have eight points to the visitors' seven after four games. Last season's head to head was tight: a 0-0 in March after Strasbourg had edged a 3-2 win at this ground in September 2025.
Form points to a compelling contrast. Paris FC are unbeaten (two wins, two draws), including a 3-0 home win over Nice and a 0-0 against Lyon. Le Racing recovered from a heavy opening day defeat at Marseille with wins over Lens and a 6-2 away victory at Troyes before drawing with Monaco.
In terms of availability, Paris FC list Thibault De Smet and Otávio as injured. Le Racing are without forwards Martial Godo and Joaquín Panichelli.
On the pitch, the hosts' platform has been defence first: just two goals conceded and three clean sheets, plus an 88.48% passing accuracy. Lassine Sinayoko is among the league's leading scorers with four. Le Racing bring punch going forward with nine goals and a sharp shot accuracy of 53.49%, while Sebastian Nanasi has supplied two assists and Gessime Yassine has scored twice. They have, however, conceded eight and are yet to keep a clean sheet, which Paris FC will be looking to exploit.
Paris FC sit in the Europa League bracket and a win could strengthen their early push and possibly lift them higher. Le Racing currently occupy the Conference League qualification slot and victory may nudge them further into the European mix.
