Paris FC will be without Moses Simon and captain Pierre Lees-Melou for Sunday’s trip to Metz, kick-off 17:15.
According to L'Équipe, Simon sustained a hamstring problem in training this week and will not travel. Lees-Melou is suspended after receiving his fifth caution in a row at Lorient on 5 April, a 1-1 draw.
The promoted side thrashed Monaco 4-1 a week ago and are unbeaten in seven. In Metz on Sunday, if they avoid defeat and depending on Auxerre’s result at Monaco, they could officially confirm their safety.
Head coach Antoine Kombouaré stressed the need to respect Metz, warning against getting carried away. He said the Monaco win was enjoyed then quickly parked, and that his group want to keep winning.
Kombouaré added that video analysis and about 10 individual meetings this week reassured the staff. He felt the players remained committed, sessions were good and the lively atmosphere showed the squad is very much alive and working.
Jean-Philippe Krasso remains out with a knee problem. Simon’s absence could open the way to a possible start for Luca Koleosho.
