Sunderland, Leeds United and Fulham have been linked with Parma centre-back Mariano Troilo.

According to ParmaLive, Fulham have already shown interest in the 23-year-old and were willing to offer around £17m, an approach that was rejected. Parma are said to want a higher fee before entering serious talks.

Troilo joined Parma from Belgrano last summer in a deal worth around £6.8m, with 2025-26 his first season outside South America. After a slow start he grew in stature and went on to start 17 league games.

A standout display came in Parma’s 1-0 win over AC Milan at the San Siro, when Fulham’s interest is said to have first emerged. Leeds United and Sunderland are also now in the frame, although no fresh offers have been made.

Parma are in no rush to sell, with Troilo viewed as an important part of Carlos Cuesta’s project. Even so, the club are said to be prepared to enter talks if any of the three offer more than £17m.

There is a belief his value could rise next season, so clubs may feel this summer is the time to move. Parma have a reputation for selling at the right price, and several of their players are attracting interest across Europe.
