Parma’s Carlos Cuesta angry after last second defeat vs Roma: “We deserve respect.”

Parma manager Carlos Cuesta expressed his frustration with the way Roma beat his side in tonight’s 2-3 comeback win at the Tardini.

After the match, Cuesta spoke to Sky Sport.

“I’m proud of the lads, of the performance, and of the energy the fans gave us. What happened is obvious, everyone saw it. I think Parma deserves respect because it’s a historic club.”

“There’s a very obvious dynamic from 2-1 to 2-3 that doesn’t just involve incidents in the box but every time we went ahead. The foul on Pellegrino? Too obvious.”

“In the first half we shot 7 times and they shot 3, in the second they shot more. In the second half, however, we were able to press more aggressively, but it was in the first half that we went for the shot.”
