Napoli have completed their first signing of the transfer window with Pasquale Mazzocchi accomplishing his medicals this morning.
According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Pasquale Mazzocchi is set to become a new Napoli player after completing his medical examination this morning. The 28-year-old is brought in by the Partenopei as an additional defensive asset, especially to deputize skipper Giovanni Di Lorenzo when he is unavailable.
The Neapolitans are expected to pay around €3 million to Salernitana for the transfer after a brief period of negotiation. Mazzocchi is scheduled to be in Naples in the next few hours as he will sign a three-and-a-half-year contract with the option to renew for a fourth. He will start training immediately after joining for the match against Torino.
The full-back has starred in 18 appearances with Salernitana this season, registering a single assist against Sassuolo. He has recorded two goals and seven assists over his Serie A career.
