Passlack leaves Germany as Bochum sign replacement | OneFootball

VfL Bochum’s fullback Felix Passlack joined Hibernian on deadline day. The former Borussia Dortmund defender signed until the end of the 2028/29 season for the fifth-placed Scottish Premiership club.

Passlack only missed four league games this season, but he has only been in the starting lineup four times. The versatile defender played in 82 Bundesliga games for Dortmund, Hoffenheim, and Bochum until the end of last season.

Bochum responded quickly as they replaced the 27-year-old with Oliver Olsen. Uwe Rösler stressed that the move is intended with the next season in mind as Olsen signed a deal until June 2030. The 25-year-old joined from Danish Superliga side Randers FC.

According to reports, Bochum paid €200k for the services of the player who started 19 of 20 games for Randers in the first half of this season. He will wear the number 13 at his new club, and could make his debut on Friday against Preußen Münster.
