Paul Barber says Brighton have completed some contract agreements that are yet to be announced, as the club continues a busy window.

Speaking at the BBC Radio Sussex fans' forum, the club's chief executive and deputy chairman said: "There is a sense that the transfer window has gone all quiet but we have actually done 31 different transactions in 56 days. And that doesn't include the new contracts we have done."

He added: "I think that is 16 permanent players in, men and women, eight loans out and seven permanents out across the two senior and development squads, men and women. That is a huge amount of business in 56 days."

James Beadle signed a new deal before returning on loan to Birmingham City. Fellow goalkeeper Steven Hall, who worked with the squad in Vienna, has also agreed fresh terms, the 21-year-old signing a two-year contract. WSL players Maisie Symonds and Maria Olislagers have likewise renewed.

Albion have already sold Jan Paul van Hecke and Carl Rushworth, who were entering the final season of their existing deals. Players contracted to 2027 and still on board include Kaoru Mitoma, Yasin Ayari, Lewis Dunk and Pascal Gross.
