Paulinho has stepped up his recovery after surgery on his right leg, while Felipe Anderson has begun work on the pitch following a left ankle sprain, according to Nosso Palestra.
Palmeiras reconvened on Monday morning at the Football Academy after a 1-0 win over Corinthians at Neo Química Arena in the Campeonato Paulista. Already through to the quarter-finals, they sit second on 15 points.
Players who featured for more than 45 minutes followed recovery and gym sessions in the centre of excellence. The remainder, joined by academy players, contested a training game played in two 20-minute halves.
Anderson started his physical transition with grass work. Paulinho increased his workload after positive control tests, splitting exercises between indoor facilities and the pitch.
The club face Internacional at Beira-Rio on Thursday 12 at 21:30, in the third round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
In 2025, Palmeiras beat Inter in both league meetings, 1-0 in Porto Alegre and 4-1 at Allianz Parque, repeating strong campaigns in 2016 and 2021. They have six wins, two draws and two defeats in the last 10 matches between the sides.
