Corinthians will host Palmeiras this Sunday night (8) at 8:30 PM (Brasília time) at the Neo Química Arena, in a match valid for the seventh round of the first phase of the 2026 Paulista Championship. Currently, the Alvinegro is in fifth place on the overall table with 11 points (three wins, two draws, and one loss – nine goals scored and five conceded).

In tonight's classic, Corinthians will seek to continue improving their overall record against the two clubs. The first Derby took place on May 6, 1917, when they faced each other in that year's Paulista Championship at the Palestra Itália Stadium, now Allianz Parque. The match ended 3-0 for the rival. Top Scorer for Corinthians in the Matchup

The top scorer for Corinthians in the Derby is Luizinho ‘Pequeno Polegar’, who scored 21 goals in 44 games against Palmeiras.
