According to LaNumer12.com.ar, Boca have renewed their push for Paulo Dybala, with the Roma forward asking them to wait until June. He is under contract in Rome until mid 2026.
The board led by Juan Román Riquelme want a marquee arrival and have discreetly targeted the Córdoba-born World Cup winner. Dybala is keen on the blue and gold, a reunion with Leandro Paredes and a long-held personal goal.
The contract length remains the main obstacle, and he does not plan to force an exit from Italy. His stance is to honour the deal, then assess a return to Argentina.
Family considerations are central, with Boca seen as the leading option for sporting and emotional reasons. Catherine Fulop, his mother-in-law, told Mario Pergolini's programme that Oriana Sabatini has felt isolated in Rome after close friends left, which could weigh on the decision.
She added that Ova Sabatini's support for River would not block a move if family wellbeing comes first.
For now Boca must wait. Dybala has thanked the interest, asked for patience and left open the possibility of joining in June. If he does return, Boca appears his first choice.
