Lyon visit Toulouse in Ligue 1 on Saturday at 20:45 with Pavel Sulc back and Khalis Merah available, giving Paulo Fonseca a near full squad and scope to tweak his line-up.

According to Le Progres, the full group trained on Friday morning, with Moussa Niakhaté working indoors. Fonseca now has options across the pitch as competitive fixtures pile up in August.

Fonseca said the squad are well. He noted Niakhaté sustained a minor ankle issue at Fenerbahçe but is fine, and that Ruben Kluivert, withdrawn before the end, is available.

Although he did not mention Merah, the young attacking midfielder trained and is in contention, as is Nicolas Tagliafico.

The coach wants the best possible team now to achieve a good first result in Ligue 1. He added that after returning from Fenerbahçe he did not speak to the players about the return leg, saying the focus is on Toulouse, who caused problems last season.

He said he would make a few changes with Fenerbahçe in mind, though he stayed vague. He suggested there is a possibility of minutes for Mads Bidstrup or Zach Athekame.
