PEC Zwolle are set to sign Ajax’s Jan Faberski on loan. The 19-year-old winger will spend a season in Zwolle. A purchase option wasn’t included in the loan agreement.

Faberski recently extended his contract with Ajax until the summer of 2030, but hasn’t yet been eligible for playing time in the first team.

The Amsterdam side decided to let the Polish talent gain experience elsewhere, and PEC Zwolle look ready to benefit from this. The Blauwvingers were looking for reinforcements on the wings after the departure of Filip Krastev at the end of his loan.

Voetbal International’s Rob Aarts writes that Faberski, who thrives on the right wing, still needs to improve physically. Ajax’s intention is to let the talent mature in the Eredivisie and prepare him for next season, where Faberski will have another chance to show his potential.

PEC are also still considering the arrival of Noel Milleskog, a 23-year-old winger from IK Sirius. The Swedish club have rejected the Zwolle side’s initial offer.
