FC Barcelona manage to win against Celta Vigo at the Spotify Camp Nou. Hardly a vintage performance from Hansi Flick’s team, it was rather a difficult match to wrap up and it also saw two key players go down injured.
Thanks to a penalty that was won and converted by Lamine Yamal, Barça ended this game with a 1-0 victory. However, there were a lot of lows during this match and not a lot of highs worth remembering.
Here are the player ratings for the FC Barcelona players.
Starting XI:

Joan Garcia: 8.0/10
Sublime with his passes and provided some great cover in the box as well. Moreover, he ensured that Barça ended up keeping a clean sheet with some massive saves.
Jules Kounde: 7.0/10
Provided consistent support on the right flank, albeit should have done better when it came to winning the ball back at times. However, it was ultimately a decent performance from the Frenchman.
Pau Cubarsi: 8.0/10
Maintained the team’s defensive structure well and stayed composed throughout the match. His passing was calm and collected as well, and his involvement was second to none as well during the game.
Gerard Martin: 8.0/10
A top performance from the Spanish defender, who was sublime with his passes and also did quite well in his duels. Great display from the centre-back.
Joao Cancelo: N/A
Got injured quite early on and was replaced by Alejandro Balde.
Eric Garcia: 7.5/10
Did the dirty work when needed and delivered an intense performance by competing in a lot of duels and winning several of them. Moreover, his distribution was solid as well.
Pedri: 8.5/10
Much better from Pedri in this game, as he did well to dictate the tempo of the match and provided some clever openings as well. Even provided the pass that was converted by Ferran Torres for his offside goal.
Lamine Yamal: 8.0/10
The young winger was quite threatening during the first half and even managed to win a penalty and convert it as well. Unfortunately, he got injured immediately after scoring his goal and was replaced.
Dani Olmo: 6.5/10
Yet another underwhelming performance from the Spaniard, who should have done much better with the opportunities that he got.
Gavi: 6.0/10
Not too involved during the first half, but did just about what he was expected to as well. He was replaced at the halfway mark.
Ferran Torres: 7.0/10
Had a few moments of brilliance, including a sensational finish that got ruled out for offside. The Spanish forward was not always efficient, but he ultimately delivered a solid performance.

Alejandro Balde: 7.0/10
Did well enough to keep things in check on the left flank, but his overall attacking prowess was underwhelming. However, he did tend to his defensive duties well enough.
Roony Bardghji: 6.0/10
Despite some promising moves, he ended up slipping or messing up some good openings as well.
Fermin Lopez: 7.0/10
Intense and energetic, Fermin Lopez made sure to bring his usual qualities to this match once he came on.
Frenkie de Jong: 7.0/10
Did well to calm things down and added a bit of energy and technical ability to the Barcelona midfield as well.
Marcus Rashford: N/A
Not enough time or influence on the game to warrant a rating.
