Pedrinho cleared over Cruzeiro 3-3 Vasco flashpoint | OneFootball

Pedrinho has been cleared over the melee during Cruzeiro 3-3 Vasco at the Mineirão on 15 March in the Campeonato Brasileiro. In a Thursday morning STJD hearing, the Vasco president received a warning for his protests towards referee Lucas Paulo Torezin of Paraná.

According to Globo.com, he had been charged under article 258 of the CBJD for conduct contrary to discipline and ethics, specifically behaviour deemed disrespectful to the referee. The disciplinary commission found there was no personal disrespect by Pedrinho.

The STJD prosecutor’s office characterised the behaviour as extremely reprehensible.

Midfielder Barros, sent off in that match, received a one-match ban. He has already served the automatic suspension from the red card and is available to face Remo on Saturday in Belém.

Director Felipe Loureiro and football manager Clauber Rocha were also tried for protesting against the officials and entering the pitch during Santos 2-1 Vasco on 26 February. Both were warned without suspension.
