Pedro and Bruno Henrique are locked in a race to overtake Gabigol as the leading Brazilian scorer in Libertadores history. Both Flamengo forwards sit on 28, while Gabigol leads on 31 for Santos and, playing in the Copa Sudamericana, cannot add to his tally.

Pedro is expected to return to the starting XI on Wednesday, giving him more minutes to chase the mark. Bruno Henrique has been scoring in fewer minutes, so the contest remains tight.
